FEE FORGIVENESS
Have you ever made a small error when balancing your checking account that sent you into the negative? Fee Forgiveness is a new perk that refunds the NSF or Courtesy Pay fee if your checking account is short by $10 or less.
Things to know:
- Fee Forgiveness only refunds the fee. It does not pay the NSF item.
- The fee refund will appear as a credit on your account and may take up to three business days to be applied.
- No limits on refunds. No application required. You’re human... we get it.
COURTESY PAY
We authorize and pay overdrafts for members 18 and older at our discretion for checks and other transactions made using your checking account number, automatic bill payments, ACH transactions, and other electronic funds transfers.
If you have established alternate overdraft protection methods such as a line of credit or automatic transfer from your other accounts, we will always attempt to pay an overdraft using these methods before paying your overdraft utilizing Overdraft Privilege. You also have the option to
opt-in/out of overdraft privilege for ATM transactions and debit card purchases.

OVERDRAFT PROTECTION
Louisiana FCU checking accounts are enhanced with Overdraft Protection. We offer two different ways to cover your overdrafts:
1. If your account qualifies, the standard overdraft practices that come with your account include Overdraft Privilege.
2. We also offer overdraft protection plans, such as links to savings account and lines of credit (loans). These may be less expensive than our standard overdraft practices.

Will my debit card work when I travel out of state/out of the country?
If you are traveling, please contact our Account Services Team with your travel dates and destinations. This will allow us to lift out-of-state/out-of-country restrictions so that you can use your Louisiana FCU credit and debit cards with zero issues.
*For all Rewards accounts, you may qualify for monthly rewards if you meet the applicable minimum qualification requirements for the monthly qualification cycle. To meet the minimum qualification requirements, you must: 1) make 15 Debit card purchases that post and settle your account; 2) sign on to online or mobile banking at least one time; 3) be enrolled in and receive e-statements. The monthly qualification cycle is defined as the first calendar date of each month through the last calendar day of each month. Account transactions may take one or more business days from the date the transaction was made to post and settle to the account. All transactions must post and settle during the monthly qualification cycle in order to qualify for the account’s reward. The following transactions do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit purchases processed by merchants and received by our credit union as ATM transactions, and purchases made with debit cards not issued by our credit union. For Rewards Cash Back accounts, you will receive 5.00% cash back on up to $200.00 in PIN-based/signature-based debit card purchases that post and settle to your account if you meet the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle, up to a maximum of $10.00. In addition, we will refund up to $10.00 in ATM fees assessed at nationwide ATMs we do not own or operate. ATM refunds will be paid on the last business day of the month. If you do not meet all of the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle, you will not earn a cash back reward and ATM fees will not be refunded to you.
The Rewards High Yield Checking account is a tiered rate account. If you meet the minimum qualification requirements for your Rewards High Yield Checking account during the monthly qualification cycle, the first dividend rate and annual percentage yield listed for this account in the Rate Schedule will apply to daily balances of $10,000.99 and below. The second dividend rate and annual percentage yield listed for this account will apply to daily balances of $10,001.00 or greater. Each dividend rate will apply only to that portion of the daily balance within each balance range. In addition, we will refund up to $10.00 in ATM fees assessed at nationwide ATMs we do not own or operate. ATM refunds will be paid on the last business day of the month. If you do not meet all of the minimum qualification requirements during the monthly qualification cycle for the Rewards High Yield account, the third dividend rate and annual percentage yield as listed in the Rate Schedule will apply to the entire balance in your High Yield account and ATM fees will not be refunded to you. account and ATM fees will not be refunded to you.
